Satanism at First Church Deland
Satan Resides in the North
According to God's word, Satan resides in the North.
"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations for thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High." (Isaiah 14: 12-14)

SACRED CIRCLES & 'TRUE NORTH'

This design incorporates many occult symbols used in rituals: sacred circles, opposing triangles, the Masonic compass, directional magnetism...
"The Sacred Circle with its directions is called by some, the 'Magic Circle,' and by others, the 'Medicine Wheel.' Some traditions emphasize the four compass directions of the Circle. Others work with the four compass points plus a central point representing unity. Some also include two additional directions in the center, up and down, to create a Sacred Sphere as well as the Sacred Circle. Qualities, images, colors, and other symbolic associations with the directions vary from path to path, but the idea of Sacred Circle as a place of balancing, healing, and wholeness extends across [occult] traditions. Sacred Circle, Sacred Sphere Mapping Consciousness with Seven Directions
Two opposing triangles:
Triangle with broad base up is the male principle;
triangle with broad base down is the female principle.
TRUE NORTH
Ritual Sacrifice?

UNCOVERING THE OCCULT: The following is from a checklist for law enforcement investigators to use when investigating crime scenes with what appear to have occult overtones:
"Compass orientation: How is the ritual site oriented to True North? There is a long tradition in Occidental mysticism, religion and ceremonial magick relating the traditional elements (air, fire, water, and earth) to the cardinal points of the compass."
